• The City of Wilson now boasts a 20Mbps asynchronous broadband service provided by Greenlight, which makes it the fastest public Internet access in the entire state.
• City of Wilson Fire and Rescue have highly trained and dedicated firemen and rescue workers with top of the field response and skill statistics.
• City of Wilson Police Department is highly-trained and equipped due in part to Wilson Technical Community College which among other programs is the North Carolina Law Enforcement Training Center.
• City of Wilson Parks and Recreations also excels which among many achievements holds the distinction of #1 Tree Grower in North Carolina and is presently setting out trees all over Wilson as one part of the new Wilson Beautification Program.
